FAQ

Common questions.

How long does an FCC filing take?

Most renewals clear the FCC in 3–7 business days. New licenses and modifications with frequency coordination typically take 7–14 business days.

Do I pay the FCC fee separately?

No. Our flat fee includes the FCC electronic filing fee and the applicable regulatory fee. You'll see the total on your HoneyBook invoice before you pay.

What if my license already expired?

If you're within the FCC's grace period we can often file a late renewal. If you're past it, we'll guide you to a new-license filing. Submit the renewal form and we'll let you know which path applies.

Can you invoice a different person than the operator?

Yes — every intake form asks for a separate billing contact so the HoneyBook invoice goes straight to your AP or office manager, not the field operator.

How do I pay?

Payment is handled through HoneyBook. After you submit the intake form you'll be redirected to a HoneyBook invoice that accepts credit card and ACH bank transfer.

Do you coordinate frequencies?

Yes. We coordinate through APCO, ITA, EWA, or IMSA depending on the service pool. Frequency coordination is included in the new license fee and available standalone.
